Larry was privileged to work with Intuit as one of the first five CPAs to help develop QuickBooks for small businesses and enjoys a continued relationship with their development team. Larry has been a board member of several local nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about the power that accounting can provide small businesses and non-profit organizations and brings his enthusiasm for excellent customer service to the local business community. Outside of tax season, he likes to travel, watch Alfred Hitchcock and Pedro Almodovar movies and attend the theatre. |

Diane has been a public accountant for 18 years. She has worked with a wide variety of clients but especially enjoys working with small business owners. She has an undergraduate degree in History from Western Michigan University and completed her accounting degree at Northwestern University. In her spare time Diane loves to garden and also breeds and shows purebred dogs. |

Bob comes to the A.C.T. Group, Ltd. after almost 30 years of accounting experience in various industries. His passions include gourmet cooking, good red wine, hiking, biking and camping on his six acres in rural Southwest Wisconsin. He shares his home in Des Plaines with his life partner, David and his cat, Katie. |

Scott joined the A.C.T. Group, Ltd in early 2010. He brings seven years of accounting experience to the firm, including both time spent in public accounting assisting individuals and small business with their tax and accounting needs, and experience running the accounting department of a local, mid-sized business. He holds both a bachelors and masters degree in accounting from Bradley University. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, when Scott is not serving local businesses he most likely can be found spending quality time with his family and friends and passionately cheering for various Chicago sports' teams. |

Shirley came to us originally as an intern in 2011. She completed her Masters in Accountancy at Seattle University and has almost completed her CPA exams. She is an enthusiastic and versatile addition to our team. |
